Broccoli-Cheddar Quiche
Broccoli-Cheddar Quiche
Pastry crust
4 eggs
1½ cups milk
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (6 oz.)
2 cups chopped broccoli (fresh, cooked, or thawed)
½ cup thinly sliced green onions (entire onion)
Roll pastry into 11-inch circle. Line a 9-inch pie pan, or a tart pan, with the dough. In a large bowl, beat the eggs lightly. Add milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Beat until combined. You can blend the eggs, milk, and spices in a blender. Mix together cheese, broccoli, and onions. Spread into pastry crust. Pour egg mixture on top. Bake 50-60 minutes at 350°, until puffy and slightly brown on top. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
