Apple-Blueberry Pie
A fun twist on a classic apple pie recipe. After tasting this pie, you may never go back to a plain apple pie again!
Apple-Blueberry Pie
One crust, unbaked
Filling
4 cups sliced baking apples
2 cups blueberries
¾ cup sugar
¼ cup flour
½ tsp. cinnamon
1 Tb. lemon juice
Topping
1 cup flour
½ cup brown sugar
¼ tsp. nutmeg
1/3 cup butter
Mix filling ingredients. Mix topping ingredients until crumbly. Put filling in pie crust. Spread topping over. Bake at 425° for 50 to 70 minutes. Cover edges with foil if necessary to prevent burning.
Becky's Note: Wow. All I can say is wow. The crumb topping combined with the blueberries in this pie creates an amazing combination. I will probably never make a plain apple pie again. Ever.

I love adding berries to apple pie! My other favorites are blackberry and cranberry!! So good!
