Orange Rolls
Orange Rolls
1 recipe rolls (your favorite)
¼ cup softened butter or margarine
½ cup sugar
1 Tb. water or orange juice
1 tsp. grated orange rind
When dough is ready to shape into rolls, punch down. Shape into desired form. You can shape Parker House, crescents, butterflake, or cinnamon-type rolls. Spread rolled out dough with softened butter, sprinkle with combined sugar, juice, and orange rind. Form. Let rise until double in bulk. Bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes. Remove rolls from pans and cool on wire rack. When rolls are cool, drizzle with Orange Glaze: Mix 1½ cups powdered sugar, 3 Tb. orange juice, and ½ tsp. grated orange rind.
Becky's Notes: I used the Lion House Roll Recipe. Did I mention that these are good? Really, really good!
Looks delicious!
