Mini Pies
For a fun dessert bar, make several different kinds of mini pies. Cut each pie into quarters or eighths and everyone gets to enjoy little bites of several different kinds of pie. My favorite size pie tin to use is this one.
Becky's Note: Why eat one kind of pie if you can have 12? This last Thanksgiving I wanted to cook several different kinds of pie but couldn't justify making whole pies for our family. I decided to cook mini pies and may never cook a 9 inch pie again. It was easy to modify all the recipes and didn't take too much extra time. I cooked the pies in 2 batches. Of course, to enjoy this project, you have to love pie and love making pie!

ReplyDeleteThe link now goes to the company, but not to the size of tin. Could someone mention the size! Thanks!
