Blueberry Syrup

Blueberry Syrup

½ cup sugar
1 Tb. cornstarch
dash of salt
½ cup water
2 cups blueberries
1 Tb. lemon juice

Combine dry ingredients in saucepan and mix well. Add water and blueberries and bring to a boil. Turn down heat and simmer until thick. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice. Chill and serve over ice cream, cheesecake, waffles, pancakes, etc.

Becky's Notes: I prefer this Apple Blueberry Sauce, but this recipe comes in a close second!  I like to serve my syrup warm!
