Blueberry Buttermilk Pancakes

I love homemade buttermilk pancakes--they're so tender and fluffy.  Yum.  My favorite recipe is from my Great-grandma Glade.  We've posted it earlier here.

Fresh blueberries are in the store now and I took advantage of a great deal the other day to get a couple of pints.  One box got turned into these yummy pancakes.  They were a big hit with my older children.  I basically took the Grandma Glade recipe and modified it slightly and included the fresh blueberries.
Blueberry Buttermilk Pancakes
3 1/2 cups flour
3 Tb. sugar
1 Tb. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
2 cups buttermilk
1 1/2 cups milk
6 Tb. oil (3 liquid ounces)
2 cups fresh blueberries (or frozen)

Sift together all the dry ingredients and add to a large bowl.  In another bowl or a large measuring cup combine the liquid ingredients and wisk together.  Add the liquid ingredients to the dry and stir gently until combined.  Mix in well but don't over-stir.  Cook the pancakes on a medium-hot griddle until they're done. Makes about 20 4" pancakes.

You may not be feeding a crowd like me--so here is the recipe cut in half:
1 3/4 cups flour
1 1/2 Tb. sugar
1/2 Tb. baking powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 cup buttermilk
3/4 cup milk
3 Tb. oil
1 cup fresh blueberries (or frozen)
Serve with syrup!  Maybe even Blueberry Syrup!  Or the yummy Blueberry Apple Syrup!
