Chicken Meal (slow cooker)

Chicken Meal (slow cooker)
Put frozen chicken breasts and/or tenders in a crock pot. Pour 2 cans cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup over. Do not add water. Add one dry package Good Seasons Italian Salad Dressing or try some other spices. Cook all day on low or half day on high. About 1 hour before serving add 8 oz cream cheese, cut in cubes. Before serving stir to mix the cream cheese into the sauce.  Serve over rice or noodles or mashed potatoes.

Tiffany's Notes:  This is easy to prepare and a well received meal.  It's great for Sunday, a busy day, or when you have guests coming to dinner.  We served this recently when we had two missionaries over to our home to share dinner.  The young men said it was just like something their mothers made.

I use a large can of cream of chicken soup instead of two small ones.  If you use the individually frozen chicken breasts they have added broth that thins the sauce.  (I like to rinse the ice glaze off the chicken breasts first.)  Here is what you are looking for if you want to use the Italian dressing...
